"Reiner," being by the great Genuine Doc and out of a good-own daughter of AQHA World Champion Zans Last Light, is a young, blue-blood stallion that we are really excited to offer to the public.
His pedigree speaks for itself and is the culmination of one of the greatest breeding programs in the world - Carol Rose Quarter Horses. He stands a very correct 15 hands, weighs out at 1250 pounds with medium to heavy muscling, and is a stunning dark palomino color with a platinum/silver mane and tail.
In the pen, he brings forth a lot of try, diversity, athleticism, and has the heart of a champion. In the barn he is a true pleasure to be around, and tries to take on the role of your best friend.
“Reiner” placed with AQHA points in his first show in July 2007, and with limited showing completed an ROM by the first part of November 2007. We plan to campaign “Reiner” increasingly as he matures, however we also try not to forget he is still young-Therefore we have intentionally started with limited showings.
In 2006 we bred “Reiner” to a small, diverse, band of mares for a test breeding and the results have only added to our overall excitement. Most-all of these colts exhibit his great head, they have outstanding confirmation, dispositions, and most are colored despite being out of sorrel and bay mares. We will continue to monitor them closely as they mature. You can check out their progress on our Foals page.
